Stratford Cares 100 is a community initiative dedicated to supporting local organizations that assist individuals experiencing homelessness in Stratford, Ontario. Our goal is simple: encourage at least 100 people to donate $100 annually, creating sustainable funding for programs that provide food, essential supplies, emergency shelter, outreach, and hope.

Homelessness has become a growing challenge in Stratford, and so many incredible organizations are already doing the work. Most of us want to help, but we don't always know where to start. Stratford Cares makes it simple to support meaningful local initiatives that make a real difference for our neighbours.

For many of our neighbours, a pet is family, and often their closest source of comfort. Stratford Cares supports programs that help keep people and their animal companions together, with food, supplies, and care for both.

How It Works
Simple, Transparent, and Local
Community members donate
Neighbours, families, and local businesses pledge a simple $100 a year to join the movement.
Processed through a registered charity
Donations are securely processed through CanadaHelps Fundraising platform. They are a registered charitable organization that support over 85,000 Canadian registered charities via digital donations through CanadaHelps. And official charitable tax receipts are provided for your records.
Funds reach local organizations
For this fundraiser, we have selected four local organizations and initiatives that are making a difference. You can choose which one of these charities you would like your donation to support.
Reported Openly
Transparency matters to us. Donations made through our CanadaHelps fundraiser are processed securely and directed to the local registered charities you choose to support.Each participating charity is responsible for its own financial reporting and charitable activities. As registered Canadian charities, their publicly available information and annual filings can be viewed through the Canada Revenue Agency’s Charities Listings.We will also share updates on StratfordCares.org so our community can see the impact your generosity is helping make right here in Stratford.
